Island stations typically run somewhat above that statewide average; stations in Aransas Pass, before the ferry, tend to sit closer to it.

Coming by ferry: top off in Aransas Pass — there are several stations along TX-361 before the ferry staging lanes. Coming up the island from Corpus Christi: fill up along South Padre Island Drive (TX-358) before crossing the JFK Causeway, then it's about 30 minutes of beach highway with limited fuel until town.

The two main fuel stops are the Stripes/7-Eleven at 701 S. Alister St (Exxon fuel, open 24/7, near the ferry landing) and The Texan at 3401 State Highway 361 on the south side of town, which is the closest pump to Cinnamon Shore. Both are combined convenience stores with food inside.
