Getting there and parking
Navigate to Roberts Point Park rather than joining the ferry queue. It sits beside the ferry landing and municipal harbor. Follow designated parking and event signs; do not block harbor access. The official page does not provide a live parking inventory or guarantee spaces during events.
For a visit involving accessibility needs, check the current route from parking to the playground or observation area with Parks & Recreation. An accessible playscape does not mean every waterfront edge or tower is accessible.
Playground, picnic areas and restrooms
The City describes an all-abilities, marine-life-inspired playscape added in spring 2025, including a lighthouse with slides, a zipline and a group swing. It also lists shaded picnic tables, pavilions and two public restroom facilities.
The current City page does not list a splash pad, so do not plan this as a splash-pad outing. Check current facility status before traveling specifically for one amenity.
Dolphin watching and waterfront walks
The observation tower overlooks the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. Dolphins may be seen near passing vessels, but neither sightings nor timing are guaranteed. Keep children away from unprotected water edges and never feed wildlife.
The City describes the bulkhead as a walking, jogging and cycling route, with benches and palapas. Bring sun protection and water; shaded seating does not make the entire route shaded.
Fishing and events
The City identifies fishing from the harbor’s granite jetties and park bulkhead. Check current TPWD license requirements and exceptions, and keep hooks and casting space away from other park users.
Pavilions and the amphitheater host events. Confirm the specific date and venue availability through the City rather than assuming a concert or pavilion is available on arrival.
